This time it's a recipe and not a new crochet pattern.
Fresh Tomato Soup
Two large size tomatoes, cubed
(beefsteak)
1/4 cup diced onion
1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. Salt & pepper
1/4 tsp. Chili powder
1/4 tsp basil (optional)
1 Tbsp. Salted butter or margarine
1 cup chicken or veggie broth
In a medium sized saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter or margarine. Add the garlic, onion and spices. Saute until onion is soft. Grab an immersion blender and blend until smooth. Add more pepper and salt if you want to. Enjoy!!
